Janet taught part-time at the Kingston campus for many years. Her specialty was Interior Decorating, and she ran her own successful business in that field. She was the wife of the late Laurence Hardy, whom many will remember as a professor in the School of Business. Janet passed away on January 28, 2018 at the age of 83. Online obituary
Tom joined the college in 1969 after a career in Algoma Steel and Chrysler Canada. He was a man of principle and integrity, yet also easy going and tolerant of the views and activities of others. He seemed always to be patient and good-humoured and he was highly regarded by both students and staff. He left us just before Christmas.
His many fine qualities were greatly appreciated by Brad Hill, who offers his thoughts below.

She passed away on November 25, 2017 at the age of 71 years.
Calvin was a Teaching Master in Math at the Kingston campus from 1968 to 1994. He also served on the executive of the faculty union.

Maureen taught in health sciences at the Kingston campus. For many years she shared an office with Lynn Campbell, who recalls that "Maureen was an excellent teacher. She was passionate about her subject and her students. Her students liked and respected her." As a friend, she was held in high regard. "Outside of the college Mo was a very creative fabric artist and painter" notes Lynn, "I have been to her house and have seen some of her work on display. She was very accomplished. Maureen was a great person to know and it was a privilege to have spent all of those years as her office mate."

Carl Davis taught in the Computer Networking & Technical Support program at the Kingston campus for over 20 years. Prior to teaching, Carl worked in IT at the Brockville campus. He passed away unexpectedly at the Kingston General Hospital on Friday, May 5, 2017 with his family by his side at the age of 65 years.
A Professor of Mathematics and Computer Science at St. Lawrence College, Cornwall, Jim died in December 2013, but Sandra Menard recently sent me notes of the Tribute to Jim that she gave at a memorial service for him in May 2014 and I am pleased to post these notes below.
