Colleagues recall that Gabrielle came to the college in the early days when it was still in the basement of Loyalist Collegiate. She was one of the most enthusiastic, charming and energetic of our faculty and threw herself into her work with great skill and vigour. She would greet everyone with her favourite expression “Teddie Bear.” Over the years she taught barbering, hairdressing and good grooming courses, as well as French.
