1944-2008
It is with great regret that we note the passing of a good friend and faculty member, Harry Lawson. Harry was first hired at the Kingston campus of St. Lawrence College in the fall of 1969, becoming the first faculty member hired in the newly started Animal Care Technology program. Harry remained with the program during his entire career at the college. He was greatly respected and liked by all the staff at the Kingston campus. He was adored by all of the students he taught. As a member of the faculty Harry was very involved in the Canadian Association of Laboratory Animal Science. In 1996 he received the Charles River Award for outstanding contribution to laboratory animal care.
In addition to his work at the College Harry had many outside interests including farming, fishing, Grace United Church in Gananoque and the Masonic Lodge.
Harry is survived by his wife Barb, daughters Angela and Leanne. We offer them our sincere
condolences on the loss of a loving husband and father.
