Pat Collom, former English teacher on Kingston Campus, died recently. Her sense of humour still provides a smile even in the opening line of her obituary, which is copied below. First, a few of the comments that were posted on line.
She was a great teacher and a class act (Pauline MacAuley)
Always a class act (Eileen Dixon)
What a great obituary. She must have been a fun lady to be around. If this writing is any hint as to the woman Pat was, she was generous and had a great sense of humour. Strength to your family at this time, and I can only imagine that you all have some great memories to sustain you. (Jacki, a stranger)
Very Sad to hear of Pat's passing and thinking of the family. I worked with Pat for many years at St. Lawrence College and she was a professional and a brilliant educator in communications. Pat always had her game face on and expected students to do their best ... Period. (Bill Crowe)
