Paulette grew up in Halifax, Nova Scotia, graduating from Dalhousie University and was a professor of Early Childhood Education at St Lawrence College for over 40 years. She was a vibrant women who lit up the room with her incredible smile and sense of humor. We will remember her for her good heart, generous nature, love for her family and brilliant smarts. She was taken from us too soon with so much more to offer and she had been looking forward to fully retiring and seeing the world.
She will be greatly missed by all of those who knew and loved her. A celebration of her wonderful life will be planned at a later date. We will miss you, Mom/Gaga
Paulette was a valued member of the SLC family for over 40 years, and was the creator of what is now the ECE Online program.
Paulette began her journey at SLC teaching in the classroom at the Kingston campus where she helped create the Home Child Care Certificate program, based on a need from the community. This program grew into many different childcare correspondence certificates and later became the ECE online program that is offered today.
In addition, Paulette was an active member of the local community, guiding and providing leadership to those with a passion for childhood education.
