He passed away suddenly at home in Kingston, on Thursday, August 15, 2013, at the age of 64. Ken, beloved husband of 39 years to Pat (nee Turnbull). Father of Kevin Goodwill. Much loved brother of Rod and his wife Sue of Stoneycreek, ON and Lori Hallett and her husband Larry of Kingston and brother-in-law of Connie Robertson (the late Russell) of Toronto. He will be lovingly remembered by his nieces and nephews; Shari Dent, Tina Farraway (Rob), Larissa Boylan (Ashley), Katrina Ryce (Chris), Sandra Lyon (Bob), Joanne Bonnevie (Paul), Nancy Belviso (Nick) and Rick Robertson (Candy) and their families. Ken is the son of the late Ken and Edna Dent. Internment took place at the Cataraqui cemetery.
Ken worked in the Physical Plant department on the Kingston Campus in the seventies and eighties. He worked on grounds maintenance clearing snow in the winter and cutting grass in the summer. After leaving the college he went to work with the City of Kingston.
