Who was the person who would never welsh on a deal and who insisted on a footstool for the classroom because otherwise reaching the top of the blackboard was impossible?

I do remember this Prof - I used to ask Nancy not to schedule me in a classroom beside him in order to be able to concentrate on my teaching given his loud presentation style.

Thanks for sharing the memory Bill. I agree with the tactic that you employed. Glad you left the identity for others to offer.

I think it was Gynn Williams. We use to joke about our height deficiency. He came to the Senior Centre when I was volunteering

Great memories of this fine Welch gentleman at our Friday shinny hockey sessions and intramural activities. Gwynn learned to skate by pushing a chair around the ice and soon became a power forward and a force to be reckoned with on the ice. A special hello to my friend and teammate

Thelma's correct answer was logged at 29 minutes before the correct answer from Brian - but Brian's answer had to travel all the way from the Maritimes, so it might have been sent even before Thelma's note. [Don't think about this too long or hard.]

It has to be the happy, little, Prof known as Gynn Williams. 😭
