The impetus for this report arose as a result of our 2018 Annual General Meeting when members described organizations with which they volunteered. I agreed to send information about, and links to, these organizations, at which point it was suggested that I also ask our members what volunteer work they already did. The inference was that I would be surprised by the answer – and I was.

If you are already very busy, please share with Dick Tindal any volunteer work that you now do, and the organization(s) involved. He is compiling a list of all the volunteer work currently being done by our retirees – a list that will not include your names. Dick hopes the list might give some ideas to others who are thinking of volunteering.
