Who was the fellow who always wore a Tam, who worked for the CPR, served as parish priest, obtained a Master’s Degree in Politics, and then retired from the priesthood to become a teacher at SLC? [Talk about going from the sacred to the profane!]

Lack of comments suggests that we might need a clue or two. This mystery person started on Cornwall Campus and then switched to the Kingston Campus in 1981.

I didn't know the answer to your question and before I could find someone who might know (which - in any event - might have given you an unfair advantage in the contest(?) - someone else came up with the answer.
