It turns out that Ian Wilson is not the only fundraiser extraordinaire. He has raised funds for various organizations in the Kingston area and recently spearheaded a successful drive to raise $50,000 for student bursaries in time for the 50th anniversary of SLC in 2017. A recent report in the Globe and Mail offers well deserved praise for David Enns and a group of retired Cornwall faculty members. Over the past 18 years, David and his wife Sandy have hosted an annual fundraising event at their home in support of a Retired Business Faculty Award. So far the fundraising has provided 21 bursaries at $1,000 each and has built up $55,000 in a growing fund as well. Great work on the part of these retired colleagues.
