Bill taught Civil Engineering Technology at SLC, Kingston Campus, for 30 years. He is remembered as the curly-haired youthful looking fellow often seen outside with groups of students engaged in their field work. Ron Robinson, Dean of Trades during that era, recalls that Bill was an excellent teacher, well liked and respected by students and faculty. He played hockey and softball on the SLC staff teams. After his retirement, Bill was a regular attendee at the SLC Retiree Association events until his health curtailed his participation. He is missed and fondly recalled.
Bill and his wife Helen were married for 46 years and had three daughters Diane (Jairo), Sheryl (James), and Tanya (Rob).
