Eunice was a long time employee at the Kingston campus. She started out in Human Resources, but most of us will recall her working in the Financial Aid office. Former colleagues remember her as being "very soft spoken, caring and generous". She passed away on June 18th at the age of 78. Obituary link
Carl Davis taught in the Computer Networking & Technical Support program at the Kingston campus for over 20 years. Prior to teaching, Carl worked in IT at the Brockville campus. He passed away unexpectedly at the Kingston General Hospital on Friday, May 5, 2017 with his family by his side at the age of 65 years.
A Professor of Mathematics and Computer Science at St. Lawrence College, Cornwall, Jim died in December 2013, but Sandra Menard recently sent me notes of the Tribute to Jim that she gave at a memorial service for him in May 2014 and I am pleased to post these notes below.
Andre died on November 20 at the age of 78. He was one of the pioneers in the development of the Information Technology program at the college, according to Steve Graves, who offered him a teaching position in 1968. He had been Head of Technical Computing at the Canada Life Assurance Company. Steve described him as a true computer wizard who loved developing all types of computer hardware and software.

Larry Gibbons, a former employee in Creative Arts on Kingston Campus, posted a tribute to Terry on his website and offered further comments in an email that he sent. I am pleased to provide this more personal tribute to Terry below.
Another tribute that was lost along the way in the transition from the college website to this one is for Terry Fuchs. The post that follows is from an SLC colleague of the time, David Schleich and was submitted in 2009.
I was reminded recently that we had somehow lost the tribute to David McKay when the "In Memoriam" tributes were transferred from the Association link within the College website to this, our own, site. This unfortunate oversight is rectified below.
Terry Pfliger died on June 9, 2016, in Bridgman, Michigan, at the age of 68. He was an employee on Kingston Campus from 1973 until 1995. His responsibilities over the years included being a Teaching Master in the Creative Arts Department, Program Coordinator in Continuing Education and in Creative Arts, and Chair of the Creative Arts Department. I am hoping that folks who knew Terry will post a more complete story about him and his time at SLC.
Pat Collom, former English teacher on Kingston Campus, died recently. Her sense of humour still provides a smile even in the opening line of her obituary, which is copied below. First, a few of the comments that were posted on line.
She was a great teacher and a class act (Pauline MacAuley)
Always a class act (Eileen Dixon)
What a great obituary. She must have been a fun lady to be around. If this writing is any hint as to the woman Pat was, she was generous and had a great sense of humour. Strength to your family at this time, and I can only imagine that you all have some great memories to sustain you. (Jacki, a stranger)
Very Sad to hear of Pat's passing and thinking of the family. I worked with Pat for many years at St. Lawrence College and she was a professional and a brilliant educator in communications. Pat always had her game face on and expected students to do their best ... Period. (Bill Crowe)
This section is intended to pay tribute to former colleagues who are deceased. Our list is terribly incomplete and we encourage you to contribute personal recollections of others who should be included.
