Aubert worked at RCA and then St. Lawrence College in Brockville and Kingston before working in the Physics Department at Queen's University. He was a renowned field hockey and soccer player in his youth. He enjoyed playing and coaching soccer when Raoul and Suresh were young, and loved to hear his grandchildren tell stories about their school and extracurricular activities.
For many years, He was a proud member of the Knights of Columbus at one point achieving fourth degree status and was quite active in his Church community. Aubert was a kind and thoughtful man and will be missed by many.
Aubert is survived by his wife Phoebe, sons Raoul (Bina) of Edmonton AB, and Suresh; his grandchildren Krishnan, Kiran, and Nikhil all of Edmonton AB, his twin brother Aelred of Myrtle Beach, SC and his sisters Adela and Dymphna of Charlotte, NC, and Verena (Edgar) of Atlanta, GA, sister-in-law Atila (Mumbai) and several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents, brother Conleth, sister-in-law Betty and brother-in-law Robert.
